How Navilytics works
Navilytics offers all the typical customer experience features. These include session recordings, heat maps, scroll depth maps, and form analytics. All those reports can be segmented based on a visitor’s traffic source, browser, location, and other standard web analytics dimensions. One feature that is unique to Navilytics is the ability to compare page elements like a split test to see which among them drives more visitor engagement. To make this happen, all Navilytics needs is for you to place the same script on every page of your site. Like other session recording tools it offers the ability to tag sessions, which requires you to write a custom line of code for each unique tag you want to add.
Get more out of Navilytics with Segment
When you turn Navilytics on inside your Segment website source, the script gets added everywhere on your site, automatically and with no additional coding required from you. You’ll see custom tags populated in your session recordings that correspond to the events you’re already tracking to Segment. Some other customer experience tools accept the Segment user traits and event properties, but Navilytics only shows the Segment event names that were triggered during each session.
